The simple spot zapper is a clear gel that instantly delivers a cooling effect on the skin, it is dispensed through a metal roller ball that stops bacteria transferring. The main use I love it for is cooling the irritated skin around my eyebrows when I get them done. It instantly gets rid of the redness and any under the surface bumps trying to make a breakthrough are stopped in their tracks and mostly gone in a few hours.
I also tend to get some redness in my cheeks on those humid summer days (which are nearly all but gone now) and when I'm in a stuffy room for a long time. On those days I quickly apply a few layers of this underneath my moisturiser and leave it to work. As well as reducing a lot of the redness it also helps get rid of the itchiness (almost like putting an ice cube over your face!).
Whilst I can't say how it works on acne or how it would work on those with spot prone skin, when I do get a spot I find that applying this helps get rid of the redness and sort of stops the spot from getting bigger, however it doesn't completely get rid of it. It just helps to speed up the process.
Overall, for me it's a great product that I reach for when my skin in misbehaving. It might be called a spot zapper but it's a redness buster for me! I must have also had this for 2 years now and it's still going strong, the price is an affordable £2.75.
I hope you enjoyed this post!
Do you have any out of the box recommendations for products?
sounds like a great product :)

It's a great multi-use one :)
DeleteThat is such a great price for simple, I didn't even know they sold this so I will have to give it a whirl xxx
ReplyDeleteI find that Simple is nearly always on offer, so it's as cheap as chips ;)
DeleteI do love the Simple brand, though I've never tried this particular product from them... I've actually never seen it in stores, but I'll keep an eye out for it next time.

There is actually more of an emphasis on the creams etc in the Simple brand, so yeah I completely agree these smaller products tend to get overlooked :)
DeleteI don't think I've seen this product but thank you for the recommendation! I am looking for a pimple product to try as I do get the occasional spot so this post came at the right time.

I think this is perfect for the occasions spots, I find the antibacterial roller helps to soothe it but stops it spreading onto the rest of your face :)
DeleteI hate the redness and bumbs I have when I get my top lip waxed so this sounds really helpful for that and you can't go wrong with the affordable price. Definitely need to look into it soon x

That's exactly why I decided to try it too, because in the salons I was always offered a lotion afterwards so I thought hmm this might do the job too :)
DeleteIt sounds like a great product and so affordable, I should definitely give it a try :) xx

Oh no I hate it when you loose something you love to! It's qorth giving it a try at the price :)
DeleteI love products that have a bunch of uses. I've never tried the simple brand, but I hear so many good things from it that I'm thinking it's time to check them out. Have you tried any other products from them?
ReplyDeleteZ · HELLOZAUNI.COM
Snap! I tried a lot of products from them in the past, I loved their creams but then my skin got too dry and they weren't good enough. Their wipes and facial washes are great too, although the makeup remover didn't do much for me :)
DeleteOoh, I actually can imagine this would be really cooling after an eyebrow plucking session! I bet it would be nice on tired eyes too.
ReplyDeleteTouchscreens & Beautyqueens
That's exactly what I use it for , it really helps! Yeah that's a great tip :)
