When Brands Surprise You

Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser Pink Pepper and Mint

I think it's amazing how we can interact with our favourite brands on social media, such as twitter, and what's even more amazing is when they throw in a personal touch that sort of throws you as it shows you're not just another customer but a valued fan. So this post is about a little surprise! Liz Earle were running a giveaway and although I didn't win, they messaged many people saying they would still love to send something for a person of our choice. So I of course nominated my Sister (because I'm kind like that haha), but no seriously she loves many products from Liz Earle and the hot cloth cleanser has always been her favourite. I thought it was a wonderful gesture and so I sent over my address not expecting much as I hadn't won the thing. So you can imagine my surprise when this landed through the doorbox, I was speechless for a good minute!

I honestly was not expecting a full size hot cloth cleanser, let alone an amazing limited edition one! I knew instantly my Sister would love this so I wrapped it up as one of her Christmas presents and she was delighted (although I did have to steal it for this photoshoot).

Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser Pink Pepper and Mint
So where to start? It comes in an lovely and extremely well thought out canister decorated with the limited edition flavour: pink pepper and mint. There's not much else I can say apart from the fact the packaging is probably one of the best ever, it portrays the theme well and it has that extra bit of special magic making it perfect for gifting purposes. Inside you'll find the hot cloth cleanser, as well as a muslin cloth.

Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser Pink Pepper and Mint

I'm sure by now you've all heard how great the Liz Earle Hot Cloth cleanser is and formula wise this limited edition is on par with the original. It's creamy consistency makes it perfect for massaging it into the skin and gently removing all makeup. The muslin cloth also makes light work of washing it off. The main difference between this limited edition cleanser and the original is the scent, it's heavenly! The pink pepper is most prevalent, with the mint offering a nice subtle refreshing aroma rather than an overly strong mint fragrance.

I'm still gobsmacked by the generosity of Liz Earle, thank you! It also looks like it was available to be purchased on their website around Christmas but it's no longer available. Overall, this is a brilliant edition of a much loved classic and if you could just smell it I'm sure you would fall in love with it too!

I hope you enjoyed this post!
I would love to hear about any amazing experiences you've had with brands!
